i want to rename the sa login with different name , is the jobs will impacted if we rename the sa login ?

no i will not disable the login after renaming the sa .

Ok, what are you trying to accomplish? I would recommend leaving sa as is, disabling it, and create a new login that is a sysadmin.
Are your applications or users logging in using this account???

Some things can be affected, some not. It depends if the underlying part of the system (SSMS or SQL), refers to the item by name or by SID. The SID is fixed. The name can change, but some things look for the name.
So, maybe.

Thanks for the responses ..not sure whether the applicatoins will use the sa login .
