Hi,
I need to install a SQL 2005 on a server where SQL 2000 is already there.. What are the steps i need to follow. I do not want to tamper my sql 2000 in any way. When i am installling a named instance, how can i configure the ports for the new SQL 2005 instance. Do i need to stop my sql 2000 service while installing SQL 2005. is there any other precaution do i need to take care while i install SQL 2005 ?
