I need to include a portion of code that detects whether an import from an acess database is failing because the access database is corrupt.
My problem is that I need a corrupt access database and the corrupt db's from the past are gone.
I don't know how to cause corruption. 🙂
Does anyone have a bad access database or know how to cause instant corruption?

one way to cause corruption is to create a simple access db and then open the database in notepad and delete out a value and save.
not something i would try for any other method but if you want a corrupted db, that would do the trick. just do not plan on ever using that db again...

thanks much! that never crossed my mind. As a DBA, I never thought I'd be happy to have a corrupt database.
