SSRS ERROR: The definition of this report is not valid or supported by this version of Reporting Services

    Hi All,

    I am not able to access  SSRS 2016 version RDL file in Version SSRS 2012. Please help me how to run the report in 2012 Reporting manager

    Please help me

    you'll need to re-save it as a lower version.
    with Visual Studio, create a new Reporting services project.
    add an existing item with the specific rdl in question.

    right click on the project and go to properties.
    change the setting for TargetServerVersion:

    then you can either upload the RDL or deploy it from Visual Studio.
