Hello,
just trying to figure out something, nothing critical but just curious... we changed a password to a domain admin account, and nothing related to SQL server (domain admin account wasn't running any sql service account), and for some reason, the transaction log failed, I couldn't get the error message since its been a few months, but just wondering if that has happen to anyone before and if anyone knew why or what would cause the job transaction backup to fail for a sec or maybe another job running at the time of changing the domain admin account password?
thanks in advance

Haven't seen that, and it shouldn't matter. During the backup process, if you are writing to a remote share, I don't think permissions are rechecked in midstream. It's possible some delay might have caused a kerberos token to expire and something rechecked permission, but I'd think this was coincidence.
