Glad to share that I have been picked up to speak at Spanish SQLSaturday for the second time in a row. The first Spanish SQLSaturday took place in 2014 in Barcelona, and this was definitely one of the most remarkable events I have ever attended, I have some amazing memories about it.
The Spanish SQL Server community lead by Rubén Pertusa has had a very high quality start in Barcelona, and so I hold very high expectations of the upcoming event in Madrid at the Microsoft Spain offices. It will take place on 21st of November 2015 and this means that there is just a little bit over a month left until it !
From what I have heard, like in Barcelona in 2014, in the end of SQLSaturday the “el classico” game between Real Madrid & Barcelona will take place, and this promises a lot of emotions and heated discussions between local and international speakers & attendees.
My session will be focused on the Columnstore Technology improvements for SQL Server 2016, but I will also show some stuff on Azure SQLDatabase as a bonus.
At the moment I have already read on Twitter that a couple of well-reknown international speakers such as Mark Broadbent, Regís Baccaro, Kenneth Nielsen, Pau Sempre, Tobiasz Koprowski & Enrique Catalá have been accepted as the speakers for this event, but I am still anxiously waiting to see the final agenda of the event.
Join me for some light Columnstore fun in Madrid, and you might never look the same way at the reporting again.
