Whoops - we swapped case

  • Just to let you know......since the site was upgraded and once I open the daily update.....half way down the page the font chnages from a large size sans serif font to a much smaller serif font e.g Arial 12 to Times New Roman 8.

I know I have to where my glasses to read screens but I thought I might have to change the perscription!

  • Sorry about that! Hopefully you'll find the problem gone in tomorrow's newsletter.

  • Yes it is sorted today.  Thanks for that

  • No it isn't !!!

  • Damn, not one of those alternative bug... should be pretty easy to spot anyhow.

  • Its gone again!! But this time I get one font and pitch for one part, then we swap to another about a third of the way down, then back to the original, then off to another font etc etc. Five swaps in all!

Perhaps this is why the word wrap isn't working?? Opticians appointment looming!

  • I don't have that problem (IE 7, all patches, XP and Vista).

    I'm using a web-outlook interface.

  • Font swapping is still occurring. Font is getting gradually smaller. But its ok my guide dog has been ordered!

  • It's a tagging problem. If you open a tag in the forums, then we have to remove that tag for the newsletter. It requires a little parsing, isn't terribly tricky, but it takes time to handle the cases and test.

A few more pressing bugs, but we're aware of it.

  • Oh b*m. I was hoping I could get the boss to pay for the optician. Health and Safety, VDU screen user etc etc.

Mind you, I'll miss the mroning excitment of wondering how many case changes I would see today

  • This should be fixed.

Sorry it won't be a betting item for the daily office pool, but we'll try to come up with something else.

  • Do people really do this in offices??? I'd think they'd have better things to do... like making sure the server runs 100% OK.
