Please move the "CLR Integration and Programming" forum to the "Programming" group

  • Hello. If at all possible, please move the "CLR Integration and Programming" forum to be in the "Programming" area / group. It is currently in the "SQL Server 2005" area / group and I think sometimes people don't see it (because not many are working with SQL Server 2005 these days) and post a SQLCLR-related question in another forum.

    Thanks and take care, Solomon..

    Thanks!!! 🙂

Just out of curiosity, I noticed that the forum name for "CLR Integration and Programming" is the only name in that list that isn't bold, or is somehow different. It was that way before it was moved, and I think it has been that way for a long time. Is there meaning behind that difference? Does that imply that it is a different type of forum? Or is it just a simple formatting issue?

    Thanks again, Solomon..

I believe the bold ones have unread items.

  • Not sure and not debugging. We'll be cutting over to a new site soon, so it doesn't matter for now

That's fine. I was just curious. It's certainly not important, just something I noticed. Thanks again for moving the forum.

Hi Drew. Not sure how to determine if that really is the pattern, as that means that all forums have unread threads, except this one. But if it ever changes to bold, or if any other stops being bold, then maybe so.

Since I haven't read that forum, it remains bold for me if that helps.

That's it!! I just tested on another forum and it behaved the same way: once I went back to the main forum list, it was no longer bold. So if that is what Drew meant by "unread", as in "unread by me", then yes, and thanks to both of you :). For some reason, I had interpreted the "unread items" as meaning, "unread by anyone". Oops ;).

Thanks again and take care, Solomon..
