Is it possible to use a stored procedure as the data source for a report model for the 2005 Report Builder tool? When I try to create a data source view all I can see are tables and views in the database that has the SP.
yes you can but you have to do it manually in the dsv rather than through the wizard. I just pick a small table in the wizard and then when you get the dsv, right click and select "new named query"
