2005 Reporting Services Install

    Is 2005 Reporting Services on the Standard Server CD?

    When I wanted to install RS2000 I had to request a CD from Microsoft. Are they still doing that?

    That is because 2000 version was released 2004 long after 2000 was on the market.  You just need to make sure IIS is running or the installer will disable reporting services as an option at choose components.  One more thing it is easier to install SQL Server from your hard drive than CD so copy the contents of the CDs to your hard drive before installing.
