Been a while since I uploaded attachments to things, I put something on a reply which I wanted to supersede, know the old forum style you could delete things to re-upload them, but unable to find the way to do it in the new forum.
Do I just edit and upload the file again with the same name and it overwrites it?

I don't think things overwrite, but if you give a URL to the post, we can remove the attachment.

I recently did the same thing and can confirm that things DON'T overwrite. You'll end up with two files with one of them being appended with a "-1". I've also confirmed that sending an email with the URL and the name of the file you want removed does work. It just takes a day or so because people are busy.
