SQL 2000 catastropic failure

  Hi All,

  I installed SQL2000 personal edition  on windows XP sp2. then I go to the enterprise manager and access my database. I right click on my table and select return all rows.  "Class not registered or catasatropic failure" error message occur. I already tried to  install and uninstall the SQL server and install the latest MDAC and service pack but still got the same errors. MDAC 2.8 is in my machine. I was not able to connect also on my database using Visual Basic.  same error message. 

  Any info would be highly appreciated.
