I have both. We purchased SentryOne for our use, and Solar Winds is in use by the third party that monitors our servers.
The choice should be made according to your needs. Both have a trial you can get running and evaluate. I will say that SentryOne takes a lot of configuration to get it set up. It's a bit overwhelming.
NEITHER is very good at Azure databases, however they do work well with Azure managed instances.
I guess my question is what are you expecting a monitoring tool to do for you? I really do not use either one of them for anything more than confirming what I already know, and generating pretty pictures and reports that I send out to people.

And depending on the needs RedGate SQL Monitor may also be an option - limited to SQL Server only (and some details of the underlying server) but with good info also.
