Log ship Files to diffrent drives

    Hi, Haven't been able to work this out, if I create a log shipped Database I have no problem having the log shipped DB on 1 drive, but if I want to split the database files across multiple drives how do I do this? Many thanks

    If the primary has multiple files (even if on one drive), you can manually initialize the secondary with a backup and restore the database with move to move the files to whatever drives.
