Deleted ONE of the log files in EM then detached-can tre-attach as it is still looking for "old LOG file

    AAAARGGGHHH!!!!

    I deleted a log file from within Enterprise Manager, then after a while Datached the database.

    Upon trying to re-attach it, it is lloking for the "OLD LOG FILE" which the .MDF should have updated to realise no longer exists.

    Anybody had this problem?

    I have read Andy's article on re-attaching with missing LOG files but have not got that to work yet...anybody else got any Ideas.

    Create a log file with that name and path where its looking for.
