Installing instance of SQL2005 with SQL 2000

    Hello I was wondering if I could upgrade on instance of SQL 2000 to SQL 2005 and leave the other as 2000? I would like to leave one as 2000 as this houses our SAP system.

    Yes you can do this. During the SQL Server 2005 installation, it asks you which instance to install, a new instance name or upgrade an existing instance.
