  Hi SQL Server Central users,  

  Thank you for looking into my question. 

  I have SQL Server 2017 Enterprise edition with Always On mirroring in my environment. 

  My boss has tasked me with researching the possibilities of introducing TLS (Transport Layer Security).  I did not know about TLS until now, when I researched, I learnt that it is about encrypting the application connections to SQL Server. 

  Has anyone implemented it in the past?  What are the pros and cons of this approach?
