Hi,
OS - UNIX product Informatica connecting to SQL server (different network) to get data but we are getting ODBC timeout. We are seeing the Source UNIX server successfully connecting to the Destination SQL Server and are seeing handshake and initial session establishment.
After that, the sniffer on the destination side of the link indicates that certain network packets are not reaching the destination server – are getting lost somewhere in the network along the route between source and destination. The time out happens from the UNIX side of the session indicating that the UNIX side is awaiting but not getting a response within and expected time-frame (10 minutes). The Destination appears not to be getting the inquiry that the source is expecting an answer to.

Could you post your .odbc.ini file from the Unix server ? Also, have you checked with your network folks about firewalls and routing tables ? It's possible that 1433 is onlyenabled 'one way'. Have you or the network folks tries uding 'netstat' on the Unix side ?

I will approch to concern person to get odbc.ini file. It's working fine if connect remote network via QA the it seems no issue with firewall or so on. I will try netstat.
Thanks for reply
