The INSERT produces a "(4 row(s) affected)" message, so does the UPDATE.
Since nothing produced a "(8 row(s) affected)" message, I assumed the question only applied to the result of the UPDATE. The question could have been worded better to make that clear, but "(4 row(s) affected)" is the only valid answer.

Assumptions do Not Always lead to mistakes, but Most Mistakes are Caused by Assumptions. My personal experience, begins with DOS 3. 🙂

Great question.
Wasn't sure which answer would be correct as I knew it would return 4 row(s) affected twice and I guessed incorrectly.
