Stored procedure executed from SSIS hangs. Works in SSMS and after drop-create

    Hi,

    I have an Execute SQL task in SSIS which just fires a stored procedure. Connection type is OLEDB.

    The stored procedure has worked as expected for months, but last week the SSIS package has hanged twice when executing it.

    Works fine from SSMS, works fine after drop-create with no changes... ??

    Any ideas?

    Have you inspected the logs of the SSIS package? Is anyone else using the instance and thus could there be a lock on the table(s) the SP is being queried against?

    Couldn´t find anything in the log.

    Main suspect is bad transaction handling...
