sql script for table rowcounts

  • Does anyone have a sql handy that would give me the rowcounts of all tables in a database without using sysindexes table. any help will be greatly appreciated.

    TIA

  • There's a script on this site that promises to do it...script

**ASCII stupid question, get a stupid ANSI !!!**

  • That script uses sysindexes!!

if you are planing to use it just run the following first!

    DBCC UPDATEUSAGE (0) WITH COUNT_ROWS

    and you shoud be OK

    Cheers,
