  Hi,

  I am recently exploring Logshipping. I understood concept well except rolechange. My question is as follows:

  Server 'A' as primary and Server 'B' as secondary. If server A failed and changed server B as Primary.

  Now what happens? does Server 'B' network name change to 'A'?

  If not how the applications know to talk to server B.

  Yes, you must rename the server B to A, but if you want to not change the server name, you can change the connection in your application.
