SQL Server Service Manager - Instances

    Hi folks

    I have a PC using Win XP Pro with SP2.  I have two instances of SQL Server (SQL Ser Dev Edition & MSDE) on this machine.

    When I open the SQL Server Service Manager the Server combo box only displays the Dev Edition as an option.  I was wondering how I can get it to display the MSDE instance as an option?

    Your dev edition is the default instance! To include the second instance - type in server name and the instance name separated by a backslash - "Server\InstanceName" in the server drop-down list box.
