Simple model for master/msdb

    Hello,

    Can someone give me a definitive answer on why i should leave master/msdb on simple recovery (or not).

    I have changed them to full. New jobs/alerts and databases are created throughout the day.

    Basically, the recovery model of MSDB is going to revert to simple on each restart so you have to have some mechanism in place to deal with this or your scheduled log dumps will fail after a restart because the DB will be back in simple recovery mode.  Hope this helps.
