unless you specify differently XACT_ABORT will be however the default is set (if you are connecting through QA look under tools/options/conncection properties), you can check this value by using sp_configure in QA (see sp_configure and show advanced options in BOL) or right click and go to the properties of the server and looking under the connections tab.
