Hi!
Just set up log shipping for two databases from server A to server B (with Database Maintenance Plan, used "stand by" option) These databases on server B are in read only mode. When trying to give access to these databses on server B to a user, the flags cannot be set. Select queries from users with "sa" role can be run. Does this mean, that only users with "sa" role can work with such databases?
Thanks.

You have to give the relevant permissions on database A, and let the permissions changes work their way to database B via log shipping.
Note. If database A and Database B are on different SQL Instances, you may have mismatching SID's for the users logon. See the SP3 updated BOL under 'sp_change_users_login' for more details.
