Hi guys,
Does anybody know a way to install the conflict viewer tool without installing SQL Server Management Studio?
I would like to offer a select group of users a way to resolve conflicts without giving them the possibility to the anything else.
Thanks in advance.

Which conflict viewer tool are you talking about? There are many.
Which VCS are you using?
What do you mean by 'anything else'? Not even using Notepad or a browser?

The conflictviewer I mean is the one comes with the installation of SQL Server Management Studio and looks like this:
The tool is used for resolving database conflicts that occur with replicating SQL Server databases.
To make the tool work correctly the user needs to be a member of db_owner on the distribution database. When it is limited to this tool the user can't do much harm, but when he/she uses SSMS of course it can do much more.

That clears things up a lot, thanks. But I do not know the answer.

Conflict viewer comes with SSMS and this component can not be installed separately.
