Hi,
I am on SQL2014 version 12.0.2269.0.
I need to get it to the latest SP/CU.
A little confused as to the upgrade path. Can I simply install the last SP for SQL2014 - SP2 CU9?
Can I do this inline? I'm using H/A - so my understanding is that complicates things - is that correct?

so it looks like you are on RTM + MS15-058

to answer your question we'd probably need to know some more detail about what type of H/A you are using, is it an old fashioned Windows failover cluster, is it AlwayOn functionality, or some other option?

Hello
You have to update to SP2 first then to the CU9 (as of 07.01.18) .
if you are using fail-over clustering or High availability always update the passive (cluster) node first and switch the primary to the updated node. Then update the other nodes.
