Where are the MSAS performance objects in SSAS 2017?

  Greetings!

  I opened Performance Monitor on a machine running, among other SQL services, SSAS 2017. I don't see any MSAS objects, but this doesn't seem expected.

  The following documentation URL seems to imply that those counters should be available:

  Any ideas on why the MSAS object isn't displaying and how to make the counters in that object available?

  You can try the process of unloading and reloading the performance counters - the steps are outlined in this post:

  If this is SSAS 2017 tabular, the counters are known to "disappear". Apply CU3 to address the issue.
