Reporting services error indication and what does it mean

  • Hi

I've install SQL Server Reporting Services 2014 and I have the following image that appears under SQL Server Services. I installed Reporting services to install and configure. I have tried to verify the install and everything looks good but I am missing something. If you could provide any insight that would be great.

    Thanks

    Hi Kathy

Your attachment needs to include a larger screen area, I think.

The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

  • Hopefully this image is larger.

    Thanks

  • That screen shot shows that the service is running. Can you explain why you think that it is a problem?

  • I guess I'm wondering why there is that little red dot in the icon.

    Thanks

  • Are you looking to know how to configure SSRS? If so use the SQL Server 2014 Reporting Services Configuration manager. It will be under SQL server 2014 in the Programs/apps Menu

The red dot is i guess a pie chart, the icon is meant to look like a report...

  • that's too funny and I am stupid

    Thanks
