Permission denied sp_send_dbmail

    Our ERP is on SQL Server 2012 and uses Database Mail to send emails it has been working for almost 2 years with no issues. As of about 9:30 this morning users began to receive an execute permission denied on sp_send_dbmail. All ERP users are in an Active Directory security group that is in the DatabaseMailUserRole.

    We have a production database and a play database on the same server using the same Database Mail setup and Users/Roles. If i login to the ERP and point to the play database i do not receive the error.

    I figured it out, it was self inflicted. The trustworthy option got set to Off when i was trying to create a CLR stored procedure. Setting the Trustworthy to On fixed the issue.
