Hi all,
I have just upgraded my development master data services instance to SQL 2016. The upgrade all went fine as per documentation. If you look at or edit an entity via the MDS website then you get the dropdown list as expected when we have set up domain based dropdowns.
However in excel while I can connect to the entity the drop down box shows domainentityGUID not the values of the Constrained list (domain based).
I have installed the 2016 excel addin and am using excel 2013 on a windows 7 PC.
I also setup a new model and entities with a drop down reference in case it was upgrade related but same issue.
Does anyone know if there are minimum versions I need for excel or windows ?
I've seen 1 other post referencing this issue but no resolution. Any suggestions or advise is appreciated

Do not use the latest version of the 2016 addin use this one
