Unable to add datasource in ssrs in VPN environment

    Hi,

    I've connected to the client server in SSMS using "runas /netonly /user:domain\username ssms.exe". Its a VPN Network.

    I get below error while adding new datasource in SSRS 2014.

    "The target principal name is incorrect. Cannot generate SSPI Context."

    Need urgent help !!!

    What security model are you using on your data source? It sounds if you're connecting as your own Windows login. If that's the case, the most likely explanation is you're suffering from the double-hop authentication issue. If you don't have Kerberos set up then you'll need to use a SQL login, or specify a Windows account and provide a password.
