MS login creation date question

  • Hello experts,

I have a noob question. Do the following server principals get re-created each time a SQL Server is restarted? I am trying to better document the logins on my servers and noticed that the creation date for these logins is fairly recent, like within the past month.

    ##MS_AgentSigningCertificate##
    ##MS_PolicyEventProcessingLogin##
    ##MS_SmoExtendedSigningCertificate##
    ##MS_PolicySigningCertificate##
    ##MS_SQLAuthenticatorCertificate##
    ##MS_SQLReplicationSigningCertificate##
    ##MS_SQLResourceSigningCertificate##

    Thanks for any help.

Mine have the create date being of the date of last CU applied. None of them are updated from restarts.

" the date of last CU applied" - thanks! I think that's the answer.
