index was outside the bounds of the array

    I am setting up the log shipping for one of the database and when I try to connect to the secondary server, I get an error "index was outside the bounds of the array sql server" Can someone help me solve this? 
    Primary server 2008 Standard edition
    Secondary server 2014 standard edition.

    You  can get that error with an older version of SSMS, Try downloading a new version. Or maybe use the one with the 2014 version if you are using the one from the 2008 version.

    The version your using to connect has to be equal or higher than the one your connecting to. So it should be minimum 2014 or higher in ur case I suppose.
