    Hi

    I need to capture history of our agent jobs such as date it was created, who disabled and enabled it, date it was enabled and disabled, its duration, and other information. I happened to read that trace can do this. I just transferred to a DBA role and would like to learn how can I apply it. Anyone can help me point where and how will I start this? Thanks

    Traces are deprecated - use Extended Events (XE) instead.  Set aside an afternoon to read all about them, then try to create an XE session to capture job activity.  Post back if there's anything you don't understand.
