Hi
From where can I download Report Builder 1.0 (which came with SQL Server 2008)? I have SQL Server 2014 installed and it came with Report Builder 3.0. I want to use version 1.0 however but can't find a link to download it!

I was looking around to see if I could answer your question, but what I found is that v1 may not work with SSRS 2014.
Check out this article.

Unfortunately you have to use Version 3.0.
Why did you want to use 1.0?

I think you would have to get it through the Report Manager interface of an installed, running older version of SSRS.
Just curious, why can't you use Report Builder 3.0?

Thanks to all for your responses. I wanted to work with V1.0 to make use of the data models. The data models can hide joins and I can add computed fields etc, thus simplifying the user's experience on creating reports. To be hoest, never used V3, however it's time that I'll explore that as well. Maybe I can achieve the same results by creating Shared Data Sets...
Also, I have Visual Studion 2013 installed and the option to Create Data models is not there neither!

I never really used data models, so I cannot speak to them much. However it looks like they are still available with Report Builder 3.0 and referred to as report models now.
