SQL Server Audits

  • Can anyone point me in thright direction to the usefulness of audits.

I have read up about them, have done a few test specifications. Has someone got a good default specification, probably at db level. From their I can see its usefulness and and to it??

    THanks

What kind of audits are you speaking of? Data capture audits (think audit logs), DDL change audits, security audits, or ???

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
