  Hi All,

  I need to run an http from an SQL procedure (for example http://woodwell.gr/uploads/resources/26755/e-00018411-normal.jpg) AND save the return jpg file to a local folder.

  Why with a SQL SP? Would you consider using SSIS instead?

  Well if you have xp_cmdshell turned on downloading a file is straight forward as a powershell command.
