Thanks for this easy question . Last month , I had to do some search about the state of a database and I found what I wanted in the sys.databases table. I studied it and I was surprised by the order used to display the columns : in the order of their creation. It is not easy to retrieve a specific column. Maybe I have been influenced by the documentation of the WMI class which use the alphabetical order ) ( I am using these classes to retrieve information about the computer/operating system/ process... in an easier way than thru the properties of .Net Framework classes ) .
