We want our Data Center people to be able to manually run an Agent Job on a SQL 2012 instance when the scheduled run fails.
I have added an Active Directory security group with these people as a Login mapped to a MSDB user with membership in the SQLAgentOperatorRole. My understanding is that they should be able to see Agent Jobs in SSMS and manually run them. But they are not seeing Agent at all in SSMS.
What am I missing?

Fixed it. The issue was that I used an AD Group with a slightly different name from the one the users are in. Lesson: try not to take specs over the phone!
