  • I know that SQL 2017 was announced, but I didn't know that it was available. Is that true or is it in pre-release? And if it's available for download (the SQL Server 2017 Developer Edition is what I'm referring to), where do I get it?

    It's in CTP at the moment, technical preview. A google search for 'sql 2017 download' should get you the relevant MS download page , I don't have the link onhand.

  • Note that the SSMS 2017 is separated from the SQL Server installer. You can download the SSMS from here. As far as I understand it is not in previous version as the SQL Server Installer:
