Why SSMS does not include partitioning properties on index scripting?

    If I script an index from SSMS object explorer, it does not script ON clause that supposed to show on what partition scheme this index is built. It shows it however if I click Properties/Storage.

    Do I need to change something in settings?

    Go to Tools -> Options -> SQL Server Object Explorer -> Scripting.
    I think you're looking for the "Script partition schemes" setting.
