  Hi,

  I hope I can get assistance with my query.

  Our current AlwaysOn set-up is synchronous two nodes on the same VLAN, configured for fail-over only.

  There is a requirement to have two new asynchronous read-only replicas. Do these need to be on the existing VLAN or can they be configured to use a stretch VLAN, keeping the existing replica on the VLAN.

  I get the impression it's the former, but just wanted to check.

  multi subnet clustering is supported on sql server 2012
