Weird issue. I am using AD SG to assign permissions to SSRS folders and reports. I have an issue where i added a child SG to the parent, which is the group assigned to the SSRS folder, cannot see the folder.

Not sure but it sounds like it could be inheritance, can you see that the sub-folder took the same permissions as its parent?

Yes the sub folder does have inheritance broken from the parent server. And the browser group for the parent folder has been removed. But the AD SG group in question is a member of both groups that have browser roles to each respective folder.
