  Hi All,

  Is there a script or any method to check the product key in installed SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition (64-bit) SP2

  The key is embedded in your media.

  The key is also in the registry but its obfuscated.

  As long as the server is licensed you shouldn't need the key

  Microsoft has a tool for that

  Could be useful if you have multiple licenses and you need to validate which license is used on each server.

  Please let me know how can we check the product key of installed SQL Server

  1. Start Date and Expiry date

  2. whether the product key is activated or not
