Has anyone else had an issue where the update package will run but at the end not update SQL Server at all? I have tried to slipstream it as well and it will not update anything. I am pretty sure this is a permission issues but I have added myself to the admin group, the properties on the CU6 exe, and to the folder I am running out of. Any ideas out there?
I have attached screen shot to show what results I get.

Do you have the correct CU for your current version? there is a CU 6 for RTM, SP1 and SP2
yes, I have double check it several times and used it on 20+ other sql servers

Is your C: drive or the folder where SQL server is currently installed compressed? If so try uncompressing folder.

The C:\ is set to compress files. I am re-running it. Fingers Crossed

Well that's the problem, you let a Sharepoint guy touch your server. 🙂
dude, if I could vent about this openly I would, lets just say they won't do it again!
