Upgrade from 2014 Enterprise to 2016 Standard

As I can see this upgrade path is supported.

Is it impossible to upgrade from Enterprise 2014 to Standard 2016 ?

Please check this link. You will see that 2014 Enterprise can be upgraded only to 2016 Enterprise.

It's a downgrade and it's not offered or supported-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
