When are you getting these errors? When viewing a report, deploying, creating a subscription?

Have you checked your logs for your SSRS service? This sometimes reveals more information/

  • This error doesn't occur when I remote into SSRS server but only when trying to browse thru reports or folders from another machine and it is sporadic.

  • Have you looked in the ExecutionLogs in ReportServer_TempDB?

They should provide some insight and can be queried easily enough.

  • ExecutionLog didn't provide any information

  • Is this a dev or prod environment? If dev is it possible others could be publishing then removing the reports as modifications go?

    This is UAT environment.
And I have few report folders which are just accessible to me.
So, this gives error when I access the URL from any other server or my local machine but it does not give any error while I remote into the server where we have reporting services running.
