I have SSAS (Preview) as a service in Azure.
Connecting to the tabular model from the Power BI Desktop app is fine and I am able to pull the data.
The problem is when trying to connect to the same tabular model from Excel 2016 Powerpivot.
The username is an Azure AD account which uses two-factor auth.
I have also tried another Azure AD account without two-factor auth, but I am still unable to connect.
Are there any "GOTCHAs" that I should be aware of?
Kind regards
Paulo

Yes...if you're using 2-factor authentication in Azure, you need to set up an app password as Power Pivot may not support 2-factor authentication natively. See the following: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/multi-factor-authentication/end-user/multi-factor-authentication-end-user-app-passwords

Thanks Martin
I will give it a try and see if it resolves the issue.
Kind regards
Paulo
